Member Service Representative II


Santa Cruz Community Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative II. This is a full-time position based in Santa Cruz, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers outstanding service to credit union members, the internal team, and the community; represents the credit union in a professional manner at all times.
  • Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
  • Balances transaction totals for each assigned ATM according to established department standards and regulations.
  • Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
  • Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Cross-sells credit union services.
  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required experience:

  • 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.

Commercial Lending Processor/Originator


Santa Cruz Community Credit Union is seeking a full-time Commercial Lending Processor/Originator. This is a full-time position based in Santa Cruz, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides loan-processing support for the commercial lending department. Support includes a range of processing needs, including member interaction while maintaining confidentiality and discretion as required.
  • Performs ongoing account maintenance and conducts follow-up correspondence with borrowers in order to obtain financial information and documentation.
  • Works closely with Commercial Loan Officer to prepare loan files for presentation to Credit Committee, which includes a write-up with Underwriter's recommendation.
  • Assists the real estate lending department with loan processing support as time permits.

Required experience:

  • Similar or related experience in financial institutions: 2 years
  • Required education: Associate's degree

Administrative Support


Santa Cruz Community Credit Union is seeking a full-time Administrative Support staff member. This is a full-time position based in Santa Cruz, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and human resource support for the Credit Union. Support includes a range of administrative and HR duties to be handled with confidentiality and discretion where required.
  • Interfaces with the Credit Union's 3rd party HR firm, staff, management and vendors of the Credit Union. Responsible for recruitment and staffing support, employee relations, benefit assessment and administration, salary and payroll administration support, employee orientation coordination and regulatory compliance relative to all personnel.
  • Prepares reports, correspondence, manuals, spreadsheets, and all other communications.
  • Delivers outstanding service to credit union members, the internal team, and the community.

Required experience:

  • Two to three years of HR clerk/benefits administration experience.
  • Education: College degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or commensurate documented job experience with proven HR skills.

Marketing & Social Media Manager


Santa Cruz Community Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Marketing & Social Media Manager. This position requires savvy, creativity, detail-orientation and credit union marketing and social media management experience.


Located in beautiful coastal Santa Cruz, the Credit Union is a $108 M, community development and low-income certified credit union, offering full financial services. The Credit Union has a history of serving underserved people through credit building programs, financial education, DACA citizenship loans and small business lending. Executive Assistant


Santa Cruz Community Credit Union has an immediate opening for a full-time Executive Assistant. Reporting to the CEO of the Credit Union, the successful candidate will possess an exceptional level of character, significant detail orientation, excellent memory and multi-tasking ability, report writing and presentation skills.

The executive assistant will manage an extensive meeting schedule and minutes for the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, management & senior management as well as personally manage the CEO's calendar. This position requires extreme confidentiality. Responsibilities also include administration of the organization's calendar, community commitments, government reporting and policy management. Successful candidate will have an uncanny ability to anticipate the needs of the CEO with a deep understanding and respect for the role, responsibilities, commitment and capacity of the CEO position; additionally, the successful final candidate must enjoy the support role and will have amazing diplomatic skills. Microsoft office skills including EXCEL and PowerPoint required. Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
