Have a question? Ernestine, our friendly automated teller, has the answer. If it's 3 a.m. and you need to find out if a check cleared, Ernestine can help. Need to make a Visa® payment a minute before midnight...Ernestine doesn't mind.
Simply dial (831) 427-5200 anytime, from anywhere. You will need your member number and access code for security. ID thieves are the only callers Ernestine is rude to.

If you are new to Ernestine, you can request an access code by calling Member Service at (831) 425-7708, option 6 during business hours.
- Service Codes
Each of the actions the automated system can help you with has a specific Service Code, a one- or two-digit number that you enter from your phone followed by the # sign. The Ernestine system gives you clear prompts to follow to complete the actions you desire. Ernestine will give you a list of all the Service Codes if you enter 81#. You can also get a business-size card from our offices that describe all of the Service Codes along with other tips.
If you are a frequent user of Ernestine, you'll want to know this tip. You don't need to have the service codes memorized to complete an account operation using our phone system. You can simply dial Ernestine (427-5200) and when asked to enter a service code press 0# for a guided menu. If you can't remember the phone number for Ernestine, you can also always call the SCCCU main line, 425-7708, and then press 4 and you will get transferred to Ernestine.
