You are invited to attend a Santa Cruz Community Credit Union members-only Special Meeting of the Members, called by the Board to discuss the Credit Union’s Member Access Plan, including the sale of our Santa Cruz building.
The meeting will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will be held virtually in order to minimize exposure to the COVID-19 Delta variant and ensure safety. Members will need to pre-register. Pre-registration directions and information, including the meeting agenda, will be sent to members by July 30, 2021. After pre-registration, secure access details to the virtual meeting will be provided separately in advance of the meeting.
This meeting is being held in response to requests made by some of our members. A recent signature-gathering effort to petition the Board of Directors to hold a meeting for members failed to garner the required number of verified signatures. However, the Board feels strongly that it is still important to honor the request for a meeting.
We are looking forward to receiving your feedback about our mission-driven goal to significantly increase access to banking services for underserved and unbanked members of our community, funded through the sale of our Santa Cruz branch building that we will replace with a smaller space in Downtown Santa Cruz.
